I am honored to announce I was awarded first prize at the Worcester County Arts Counsel's exhibition titled Small Treasures. The perimeters were to create a piece, in the artists choice of medium, but to be no larger than 11". What a fun evening seeing all the entries and participating artists. Many thanks to WCAC and judge Leslie Belloso of Salisbury University. Leslie sited my interpretation of light and atmosphere as a few reasons she chose my piece. This one, titled 75th Street Night Ducks, and the painting to the left, All's Quiet/Bayside are available for viewing and purchase at the Worcester County Arts Counsel until January. 6 Jefferson St, Berlin, MD.
